How Much Does Delivery Cost?

Delivery is based on shipping weight and is calculated at the checkout. There is a collection option which is free of charge.

*Some areas may be subject to a delivery quotation. These include: Central London, Highlands and Islands. Our sales team will contact you to discuss any additional shipping charges before sending goods out.

Do you offer free delivery?

In order to keep our tile prices as low as possible we just pass on the shipping cost from our carrier to you. Rubber tiles are heavy to ship around so need to ship on pallets. The more on the pallet the more cost effective. If you want to maximise your order speak to the team and we can discuss pallet quantities. Often sharing a pallet with a friend can bring your costs down considerably.

Can I collect my order from the warehouse?

Yes, on all InstaFloor products you can collect you order from our Wokingham warehouse. Just select "collection" at checkout and we will process the order and send you collection information. Please detail if you want to collect the product loose on a pallet (i.e. handball into transport) or wrapped on a pallet (where we can forklift into vehicle).

How Will My Order Be Delivered?

If we are installing your order we will ship the flooring direct to the installer. They will then call you to book in a convenient day to complete.

If you are self installing, your flooring order will be shipped via professional pallet service. This will be a kerbside delivery with the driver pallet trucking the order as close to the property as possible. They will not be permitted to enter the building.

Smaller items will be shipped via parcel carrier and you will receive text/email updates directly from them.

Can I select a specific day for delivery?

Yes, If you give us 5 working days notice we can look to set up delivery for a specified time. Timed delivery or express delivery requests can be accommodated by our sales office. If you have any specific requirements, contact us to discuss before placing your order and we will do everything we can to accommodate.

What Happens When I Receive My Order?

A signature will be required upon delivery. We advise you to check the packaging for any obvious damage before signing for your order. If you see damage then indicate this on the note when you sign.

On occasions the outer packaging on heavier items can become damaged during transit. In most cases this will have no impact on the goods themselves and means that the packaging will have served its purpose in protecting your product.

If you are unhappy with how your item has arrived, then please contact us at: 0117 2565077 or use the contact us page.

Our main aim is to make you happy when you buy from us, so we’ll deal with any problems as promptly as possible.

What Happens If I Want To Return My Order?

At Best Gym Flooring we understand that making purchases online is not always easy. We have invested time on documenting the product so you can make informed decisions on your purchase. If something is not clear or you require more information, please contact us directly. We want to exceed your expectations and our advice and knowledge is always freely available to our customers.

We offer a 14 day money back promise to give you piece of mind on your purchase and you can get a refund for whatever reason. The product must be returned to us in new unused condition (in the original packaging if applicable). The cost for returning the flooring will be deducted from the refund.

How to Install Gym Flooring

If you are looking to self-install your gym flooring you will need the following tools:

  • Utility knife plus some extra blades.
  • Straight edge
  • Measuring tape
  • Chalk

The sides of the tiles can be spot glued together using a black silicon adhesive such as TEC7. (We can provide bulk orders of this for larger projects).

Double side tape or glue can be used to bond the tiles to the subfloor, however unless in a very large space this is not usually necessary.

How to prepare for our install team or self install

Preparation

  • The installer will need a clear, clean area to work in.
  • Please ensure the area is completely clear and any unrequired flooring, furniture or equipment is removed prior to the install***.
  • The preparation of adequate sub floor prior to installation of flooring products is the customers responsibility unless specified in the quotation.
  • On newer build properties there is often uneven concrete on the edges of garages. This will need to be removed prior to install so that a flush, tight finish can be achieved by the installer. If this is not removed the installer will cut to fit however additional skirting/ edging may be required to achieve a clean finish.
  • As guide we recommend level + or - 5mm over a 5m length as the floor tolerance
  • Flooring can be laid on suitable concrete, screed floor, wood, or synthetic hard surfaces. It can also be laid
  • Doors that open into the installation room may need to be adjusted if the floor height is raised with the tiles. This would not be included on the install. Please be aware that if doors cannot open, the installers will remove doors to complete the job.
  • *** If equipment can not be removed please advise and we can provide a quotation to factor this in.
On the Day
  • The installer will have booked the install day with you directly.
  • Please ensure points above are actioned.
  • Unless detailed the flooring will be loose laid and cut to fit area. Where required the tiles will be spot glued on the sides to ensure a good fit.
  • If there are any issues on the day please raise them with the installer as they can resolve whilst on site.
